Connecting an External Display

A great way to attract attention at your capture station is to use a large external display which updates automatically with processed images.  Assuming you are utilizing automatic processing, the display will update to show the last saved image in your customer session.

Connect your display:

1. Connect an external display. Most modern laptops are equipped with an HDMI port which can be used to connect to an LCD TV or display.
2. Ensure your external display is configured for the correct input source.
3. Ensure Windows is configured to utilize dual monitors, and that your display settings are configured to extend the desktop to the second monitor. If you are unsure how to configure dual monitors, consult the Windows help file.

In Photamate:

Under Tools > Options > General, ensure the following options are checked:  

• Use second monitor to display attractions and preview
•  Update preview with saved images.
